When it earns a place in your kit

For the glued joints in a resolved design. Interior and outdoor work can require different products; a back panel or hardware may use a different attachment method.

What to check before choosing

  • Match the adhesive’s stated substrates and exposure rating.
  • Compare working time, minimum application temperature and cure requirements with your assembly sequence.

A practical setup sequence

  1. Dry-fit first and prepare clamps before opening the glue. Check that parts seat without excessive force.

  2. Apply the product’s required spread to prepared mating surfaces. Assemble within its stated working window.

  3. Keep the assembly supported for the specified clamp time and allow the required cure before machining or loading.

A common mistake to avoid

Clamp time, working time and full cure are different instructions. One number cannot stand in for all three.
